not the best song of the 90s but still brilliant

I'd call it the best one hit wonder (by far!!!) ever

best one hit wonder? :confused::confused::confused:

you're either

1. a bellend

2. a bellend

3. a bellend

The verve are one of the best bands ever, with 3 classic albums, and many great singles.

A great single doesn't always equal a hit.

Statistically they've had more than a few chart-climbers, so the guy was wrong either way.

It's a damn annoying song.

Same damn thing looped over and over and over again... wait... that makes it almost as bad as... most hiphop! Though the saving factor is that it is actually sung.

Agreed!!

I'm really worried when kids call a song 'the best' when it relies heavily on a 'sample/loop'. Play a song with instruments, then we'll see.

It's a great song but a lot of credit for that goes to Mick and Keith.

I picked up Urban Hymns and was pretty disappointed by it. There is some okay stuff on there, but I guess it's just not my cup of tea. BS was the best track on it by a pretty wide margin.

There are many n' not just one.

For personal reason I 'd choose "tears of the dragon" by Bruce Dickinson cause that was a powerfull come back and a sample of what would follow! ;)

fuck yea one of my favorite songs of all time... pity the video is very much laughable

Nice that you agree but I disagree on the video. :P

This is one of Bruce' favourites too and I really love the story behind that cause it's about something that he's experienced back in school times. Plus I think that the photography with him throwing himself into the waves is awesome! :):)

Completely agree about Tears of the Dragon being the greatest of the 90's.

And of course the video is laughable, he was in Iron Maiden after all.
