adnan
AHHHHH!!! I wasn't talking about hair bands. No Cinderella please!I meant the leather/bandana image. What can be more hair metal than leather and bandanas? What I meant by this topic was the L.A. sleaze genre, which would be L.A. Guns, Gn'R, Early Crue, Skid Row, etc.Not Poison/Cinderella/Bon Jovi/Def Leppard.

Guest knerken
Cheers Binge, totally right! Many mistake Cinderella for a hairband, because of their image.. (they wore leather and bandanas, but they were stil "Hairy" ). They just play(ed?) cool, sleazy 80s rock n roll!
neatd99
Cinderella is closer to AC/DC than Poison.Anyway, glam/hair metal is a huge genre, it's not just Motley Crue and Poison. I don't think GNR should be included, but they definitely had the image at one point. Motley Crue's best video is Wild Side (although Girls Girls Girls is more well known). Cinderella's video for Somebody Save Me is cool, too. Any L.A. Guns video from Cocked & Loaded is great (and their video for Electric Gypsie was good, if I can remember). Ratt's Round and Round, David Lee Roth's Yankee Rose, Faster Pussycat's House of Pain and Nonstop To Nowhere, and Alice Cooper's Poison are all great. As for bandannas, even Poison's Bret Micheals wore one constantly. If anything, you're looking for harder hair metal with less pop and more rock.
