Question about the Demo recording leaks

I was wondering how they came to be known as the "Demo" recordings of the new Guns N' Roses tunes. Couldn't they very well be the final recordings? Was it officially said from a reliable/trustworthy source that the leaked new songs were not final versions but they were demo versions or was it just assumed that they aren't the final product? I am just curious.

I think they're closer to the real thing than people are expecting although obviously the final tracks will be in much better quality and sound a lot fuller (especially Better, if you notice, the clips that were leaked before hand were much better quality than the full leak), with proper drums and mastering. They'll probably only be minor changes in the actual structure of the tracks like Robin's solo he plays live in IRS etc but CITR will change the most if it's on the album (doubtful from Axl's Trunk interview) since that's most likely a lot older than the other leaks.

 *really wonders why you said that*

anyway I agree, peoples expectations for changes seem way too high.

And I hope he will! Especialy on CD. I love this intro. In 2002 they just kicked into it. Here there's the intro first, and then once the first guitar riff, little silence, again that riff. Just like the way they start Jungle live. I really love that buildup of tension and I do think it works very well with CD.

Yeah, the new intro is cool. Hope it's the opener to the album.
