Yamisonic
I really, really want to get into blues. More than anything electric blues so I can get influences for my guitar playing. And of course the classics. But electric blues guitar is my priority at the moment. Thanks a lot

Texas Flood I don't like at all. I'll check out the others

adnan
I stand by my solid opinion that the greatest electric blues guitarist of all time is Hubert Sumlin. Played solo and on a huge number of other artist's songs, most famously with Howlin' Wolf. Brilliant musician. And he plays a Les Paul like it should be played. I think you have the Crossroads DVD right? He plays "Killing Floor" brilliantly on that with Clapton and Robert Cray.I would say I preferred Clapton, but I always thought he was more blues-rock than plain blues. Stevie Ray Vaughn and Buddy Guy are also excellent if you're looking at electric blues.

GNRrocks3
Kenny Wayne Shepherd is an amazing Blues guitarist. The only album I wouldn't recommend is "The Place You're In" because it's strictly rock. He's only in his 20's so we'll be hearing from him for awhile B)
