uef
Just a quick reflection on the first night at Wembley .. I felt like I was the only person singing 'Back in the USSR' (rebranded Back in the ******* UK on the autocue) - could it be true that GnR fans don't know The Beatles? Guest PULPY
:xmasschef: I heard a really huge jet plane going over my house and I just started singing Back In The USSR, cause it was compulsive.I'm surprised no one sang it if what you said was true. Maybe they don't sing along to the GN'R ones either?

axlskAmpf
It's amazing that this is true. Then you think about it and think "how much airplay is 'USSR' getting nowadays", and it's not that surprising. I'm amazed, and delighted, at all the 16 year olds into GnR. It's not like it's 1989 now. I'd figure a crowd at a Guns show would be about the same age as the band, not kids who were born WHEN GnR were making their mark. Peace
Songbird
Not being able to sing along to Back In The U.S.S.R. should be a criminal offence. jmo.I agree. And me.

I am a beatles fan, but dislike that particular song, so i don't know the words. Not really a criminal offense!LIZ
