i was out in my car with my family today, i was listening to radio 1 (uk station)

they played a new version of sweet child of mine, it is a dance version, with a female vocalist

it must be a new track cos i only know of sheryl crow who's officially covered this song,

i myself are a fan of dance music, but i dont think i can take to this song, i think its blasphemy

what are your veiws on this?

has anyone else heard this cover?

I just searched "Sweet Child" on itnes music store, and found a cover of Sweet Child O Mine by a dance group called "Flatpack" who has a girl singer. Its really gay

dude , you may be right, the song was to much of a dance style to be performed by a proper band' so i'll delete my earlier post :)

I also found a death metal version by a band called Most Precious Blood

Its a good song but there has to be a law against doing bad covers of good songs, oh well.

Lol, i heard that version. On a cold, blue february day. In the computing classrom someone was playing that and i heard the riff and thought "Yeah i really like that riff, It's originally by Guns N Roses isn't it?" i spoke to my friend who lent me AFD and thus a GnR fan was born.
