Keyboard part I wrote

Recommended Posts

The way I write keyboard parts to originals is I just sit down at my keyboard and start playing whatever, and record everything, then I decide what to keep and what to scrap. However, on this particular piece I'm really on the fence, it's sort of okay, the beat is a bit catchy, I played it on industrial synth, using an inbuilt drum beat, and I dunno if I should keep it and put it on the table for the band or not, it's just okay IMO, the beat is kinda catchy, I played the piece for 2:30 minutes, but it got completely ruined and lost after 50 seconds, so this is in the scrap pile right now, but I thought I'd get some opinions before completely scrapping it.

that instantly reminded me of this beavis and butt-head episode:

fast forward to about 5:20 :rofl-lol:

Well, that's mean, remember that it's not mixed or anything, and it's purely improvised.

Scrap then?

EDIT: AAAAHAHHHHAHAHH!!!! I just listened to it.

Wow, it certainly sounded better while I was actually playing it. Horrible.

Mods, close topic if you wish.

That was awful. Although I still think it was mean to say that sucked as bad as Beavis, considering the fact that although as a written piece it was awful, it wasn't easy to play, and I did use complex keys on it.
