Tacitus Monroe
It's on the Doors' tribute album, "Stoned Immaculate." Whereas other bands like Smash Mouth butcher songs such as Peace Frog, this is probably the best Doors cover on the album. Scott Weiland's voice - especially in the beginning - sounds almost exactly like Morrison's - kind of nasal-ly and velvet-y - but he also has that Weiland edge that comes out when he hits the higher notes.By all means, it's nowhere near as great as the Doors song, and it's too fast-paced and all over the place musically for my taste, but Scott does a good job. It's a nice curiosity.

moreblack
I've always liked it better than the original. It's got a better groove.Scott doing it with The Doors themselves is pretty good too: CLICK
