Erasing the Buckethead's parts on the record

- He left 2 years+ ago, it would be stupid to see him on the record.

- His so called "contribution" (pointless shredd) already sounds outdated

- He hurts the quality of the leaked demos. His guitar playing has no soul and no feeling.

I agree his work should be taken off the album. Not for the same reasons as you. I agree simply because he is not in the band anymore and therefore it would be better if his presence was buried by getting rid of his guitar parts. I think that Ron's a talented enough guitarist to easily redo his parts on the majority of new tunes and therefore he should be allowed to do this. i do however believe that buckethead was a talented guitarist and that his solos on the leaks were spot on. The only reason guitarists talk about "emotionless shred" is because they're not good enough to play like that and need to diss it to make themselves feel better.

No, not at all. Bucket's shredding kicks ass, i think its cool. Robin has enough "Soul" to cover the whole band. I think the buckethead parts are cool, and my friends love them too, they need to stay.

Agreed, i hate when people say shredding solos are emotionless.

If they haven`t done that already then they shouldn`t do it at all. That would just delay the album release more.

Well, i remember that one of the members here told us about his meeting with Ron and when asked about re-recording BH's part, he answered: "I came in the band too-late to do that...." .... So i guess Ron won't (didn't) rerecord them at all....

That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. Any band could do that kind of recording in about 2 weeks. A talented guitarist like Ron does not need two years to do a couple of takes of an albums worth of solos; half of which he's already been playing on tour. Trust me, recording time has never been the thing holding back the album.

a robot that can play is better than a human who can't.

WTF are you doing in this section!? :fuckyou:

I wouldnt bitch, you pull the same shit in the VR section

I wasn't pulling any shit. I was just saying I'd rather have a robot that can play than a human who can't. I wasn't insulting or putting down anyone.

I think he thinks I was refering to Robin or something, but I wasn't.

This isn't any band.. you should be aware of how long it's taken CD to come out.
