I hope this will be a return to the Gish/Siamese dream sound, because every album after those 2 got progressively worse IMO.

What is the current lineup?

I agree. One of my favorite bands of the 90's. They did go downhill after MCATIS. Gish will always be their materpiece for me. A metal masterpiece---Black Sabbath meets Cheap Trick meets Pink Floyd. I had heard Eric Avery (Janes Addiction) will be the new bass player. Eric is a amazing and very unique bass player

That's really cool news. He is one of my favorite bassists. I never thought he got the credit he deserved in Jane's Addiction and I really respect the fact that he didn't join in on the reunion album because it wasn't very good.

I was really happy when I heard this. I hope they make the album in more of a Gish and siamese dream style rather then machina. Does anyone know why darcy isn't coming back? It was a cool image for the band, in a time when image was so imporant for awhile.

When she left she was strung out on crack, but I don't know if that's still the case.
