Mr_Oujamaflip
I'm going on holiday for a week next week and my parent aren't letting my take my guitar. I have played it every day since I got it. What's it like not playing for a week? I'm scared...

Mr_Oujamaflip
Not worried about my playing, it's the guitar itself. My brother is staying here and if he has like a party or something it might get broken or sommat... NOT GOOD.And no, I don't trust my brother at all. AxlisOld
Think of this, I had surgery a little over a week ago on my left (fingering) hand. I can't play for 5 moonths at least. This fucking blows.
sweetness
Yeah, Ive had to go a week without playing twice this year, I went to Florida for spring break and Myrtle Beach a few weeks ago. You'll live, and you'll probably be surprised how easy it is to pick it back up when you get home. Besides, when youre on vacation you wouldnt have time to play it anyways, I brought my guitar to Myrtle Beach and I didnt play it once, theres just a lot more shit to do and sometimes a break is good. lame ass security
Sometimes it's good to get away from your instrument for awhile. I find that it usually gives me a fresh perspective when I start to feel I'm stagnating in my writing. But I can usually only go a few days before I have to play it again.
