bax
I'm a big fan of these guys. A lot of people have a false impression of them from hearing radio hits like Melissa, but they are very diverse. They play everything from blues to country-rock to jazz. They are often overshadowed by the Dead as far as psychedelic bands go, but in my opinion they are much more exciting to listen to. I'm going to see them in Atlanta tomorrow and I'm sure it will be a good show. Anyone else a fan of these guys? Guest Ohdistortedsmile1789
People keep asking me if I'm trying to look like Gregg Allman, it's quite annoying.I saw Warren Haynes earlier this year (this is sort of related). He can play the guitar about as well as anyone.I dig the whole philosophy and all, and I'm sure the music is great, I just haven't listened to them yet. I honestly think he is the best electric slide player alive. His playing combines delta blues with Indian ragas and it all fits.
