JONEZY
Didn't Hoobastank openly bash GN'R awhile back?I thought they said something about Scott Weiland being on a big ego trip. They didn't mention him by name, but it was implied.

Patience 4 Axl
Didn't Hoobastank openly bash GN'R awhile back?I thought they said something about Scott Weiland being on a big ego trip. They didn't mention him by name, but it was implied.Yeah, they said something about most of the guys in VR being cool, except for one, and it was kind of obvious who they were talking about.Wonder what they'll have to say about Axl...I saw them open twice last year for VR and that was 2 times too many. I'm so happy they're not playing on the 16th!!!
Arcade Roses
At long last two good opening bands for GN'R.
gunsnaxls
Hoobastank also was part of the festival(s) that Guns played in Japan in 2002. Not sure if they were actually considered an opening band, but we already knew they have been playing with both VR and Guns. Still kinda odd though. HOOSIER GUNZ
I've seen Hooba live. They've opened for incubus several times.Their hit song "Crawling" really rocked I'd still like to see wolfmother open for the guns at least once. Anyway, I hope they all rock. HS recent acoustic cover of CW was pretty good.H rock2 GZ
Maddergascar
Aren't Phantom Planet the band that did that "California Here We Come" song from the beginning of The OC? They're kinda cool I guess, but they're more indie than rock. Edited September 14, 2006 by Maddergascar
axlslash
California is shit. Phantom are actually a really solid heavy, grunge-ish band. They are a lot of fun live and rock pretty hard. They reminded me a lot of Pearl Jam (obviously not as good but definetly similar). They played California at the end, but the singer seemed to hint that they only play it because it's their hit. He seemed much less enthused about it than their heavier songs like Big Brat.
gnr24
Hoobastank and Phantom Planet are opening the show for the las vegas show. where's izzy?
well how lucky are Hoobastank, they will have gotten to play with almost every member of GNR. Possibly every member if Izzy shows up.
