uzeurilluzion
Are they playing anything over 5000? Do you think they will start playing larger arenas when the album drops?
Flo
All the Venues so far in FL, Nashville and NC are over 5,000.
brock landers
They are playing Venues they could have filled anytime between 1991 and 1993, now if they are HALF FULL it will be an accomplishment.without an album to support, this tour will be a failure in terms of ticket sales and overall buzz, think 2002 over and over and over... smokingarthur
It is literally insain how little promotion there is for these shows. I have never seen anything like this. Because there's nothing to see. When you google Guns N Roses, there should be more tour associated links. It makes no sense...????

Because there's nothing to see. When you google Guns N Roses, there should be more tour associated links. It makes no sense...????Agreed. Whoever's at the helm in the promotion department is doing a terrible job. The only thing I can think of is this is the 'master plan'. If we don't get a single by the end of the month to help promote these larger venues, I wouldn't be shocked (as anything goes with Axl), but I would be very disappointed. It makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Something tells me though, that one day in the next few weeks a huge promotional campaign is going to start... new single... official band website... radio commercials (they at least had that in '02)... maybe even a video. If the album doesn't come out by years end, however, it might turn GNR into a laughing stock (many 'mainstreamers' already feel that way). The same old set-list, however great it is to see GNR do anything, is also a little nerve wracking. My fingers are crossed for everything happening at once... and hopefully we'll get the album and an entirely new set list made up of a majority of new material... with the classics thrown in (WTTJ, SCOM, NR, NT, KOHD, LALD, PC). How cool would that be? It's the only way for the new band to legitimize themselves and be accepted as GNR with the mainstream fan. Then Axl can worry about taking over the world...lol. teknophyle83
Nashville's Gaylord Entertainment Arena's concert-arranged capacity is something like 20,000. Tickets went on sale three days ago, and there are still floor spots available as of a few minutes ago via TicketMaster. But then, there is NO promotion. It's in Nashville, and I'm in Memphis (2.5 hours away), and the ONLY mention this concert has enjoyed on radio here was when I sent in an email to a morning show here on 98.1. The DJs hadn't even heard about it. And the thing is little more than a month away.
odecom5
Germain Arena is about 7200 capacity, according to their site. i'm pretty sure that's the smallest of the venues in florida (not sure about jacksonville, never been to that one...) The radio stations/DJ's better be told about it quick, because I'm afraid they may be having a lot of 'ticket-give-aways' to the 10'th caller(s) next month to sell this out.
