vicious Posted September 20, 2006 Share Posted September 20, 2006 ok i know people here have volunteered to make the video and .flac bootlegs of the inland invasion stream but i have put my name forward to stay up into the early hours of the morning to provide you all with audio as i record iti'm testing out my software and need help on the recording settingsi need to know which setting i would get the best quality from.in "bit rate kbps" i have a choice of a number of choices ranging from 32 to 320and in "channel mode" i have a choice of: "Stereo", "Joint stereo" and "Mono"i just would like to know which settings would provide maximum quality if it makes a difference at allany help would be apreciated because it is approaching fast Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
santana Posted September 20, 2006 Share Posted September 20, 2006 For bitrate, higher is better. 320 is near-CD quality. Choose stereo sound for true stereo. Mono is 1-channel sound. highvoltage Posted September 20, 2006 Share Posted September 20, 2006 Well, there's not much point recording it losslessly, as the stream won't be encoded in anything above 64kbps (that would be my guess-timate). If you were to record that lossessly, you'd just be wasting your time and bandwidth, and many people wouldn't be able to download it.
