gnrjanus
when we look back on 3 years past of Gnr.in 2004 Gnr management made an official anouncement that Gnr was going to perform at RIR IV.what if buckethead never quit the band.if Gnr dit play at RIR IV, would Cd be out, would we now be headbanging on new songs, and perhaps what about the seccond and third album.what if gnr toured 2004/05, doing what they are doing this day!.I wonder.....any thoughts on this? The Sandman
If Hitler never came to power, maybe we wouldn't have World War II, but there we go. We can't change it, so there's no point debating it.

PurpleHaze
It's an interesting thought. I dunno, I get the impression Bucket never really got on with the other band members from what they've said about him since he left so if he never left then, he might have left mid tour which would have been much, MUCH worse. Or they might have toured and not released the album again, which would have sucked also.Maybe everything not taking off in 04 for whatever reasons might have been a blessing in disguise. Axl and the guys seem to be in a much better place right now and Axl in particular seems more comfortable with being a rockstar again and finally getting this album out. I wish Bucket was still around but he never got on with the band, people complained about him a lot and despite his guitar superpowers and obvious musical genius, it was never going to work out.Hopefully BBF will stick around. I don't see why not... he's an amazing player and I don't think anybody couldn't get on with such a nice guy. I just hope he can get on with Axl.
