life_247
My band has had a bit of fortune and have around £500 - 600 to spend on a drum kit. Our drummer has gotten pretty good over the past year, but really has only been practicing at home on pads and at school with a rather bust up old kit, so his own gear preference is limited.Just wondering with around £500 - 600 to spend, what is it best to go for. We really would like decent cymbals which at kits around 200/300 don't have. I already have a tama stagestar in the house and this new kit will live in my garage (drummer has no space in his house). Any tips for storge with the slight fluctuations that occur in a garage.Cheers guys. Im personally the bassist and backing vocalist so drums are way off my knowlage base. kevin
My brother plays drums.. if no one responds by this weekend, ill ask him when I come home. But you could always buy a mediocore set, and upgrade to cymbals. Saibian and Zildjan (sp??) are good..
