Ragnarok
This is just something i find interessting, it´s not a news, but i think it´s something worth to be heard (or read).I was just watching the "Inavsion in UK"-DVD, and when i saw Nighttrain it was just great how flawless it seemed, although axl missed to come bakc after the first solo, but the band just played the chord more often, and so nothing was missing.I noticed this on other videos too, especially on Paradise City. Watch Paradise City from Novarock or Rock am Ring, one time he´s too early once too late.Do you have any other exaples?
Axl_morris
Wembly at nightrain the just carry on nightrain when axl doesn't come back for the last verse. And since it was baz that came on they shortened the bumbles solo, it's only like 20 seconds on the outro compared the usually 2 minutes. But all the band thought the same to do the short ending. Edited October 3, 2006 by Axl_morris
Revolver
yeah I've seen few mistakes over the tour but hey, that's what makes rock bands rock bands not some Britney Spears shit.also the beginning of Rocket Queen in Inland Invasion he starts singing too soon. Ridin' the Nightrain
When Axl sings the wrong bit at the start of Patience at Rock AM Ring, and Axl just jokes about it and they loop the intro again. Love it. Haha. But yeah, the band do good to keep up with Axl when he makes mistakes. A lot of bands would fall apart when the frontman doesn't do what they expect him to. Allen8R
It seems to me Axl Fucks up alot. I think he does Paradise wrong moreoften then right with the intro. Patience has been blundered a shitload of times and there are countless other mistakes that havent been posted here. It's a good point though. I think the band realizes this and has to work extra hard. LOL I can see them secretly meeting without Axl like "OK, when he fucks up THIS part of Paradise, just do that. And during paticence when he sings the wrong verse and too early...."A8R Edited October 3, 2006 by allen8r
Ridin' the Nightrain
Axl's a VERY active frontman. His mistakes are understandable. I think they add to the live experience, personally.Edit: Eh. HisRoyalFatness put it better than me. Haha. Birdie
When he got the 'what this means to me' in The Blues wrong by coming in too early, at Download I believe it was. Axl basically improvised, it didn't sound good but atleast he got away with it. The band carried on and it didn't cause a problem. Worked well. Maybe my memory is fucking up on me, but I have an MP3 of it on right now so... I know it happened. XD Edited October 3, 2006 by Birdie

HisRoyalFatness put it better than me. Haha.HisRoyalFatness always puts it better than me. The mistakes do not bother me at all. I actually get a kick out of them. And Axl can usually cover his mistakes pretty well.

I thought the mic had broke and we were gonna be in trouble but thankfull not and then he just waited a few seconds and came in with the same line at the proper time. I love that song!
