Allen8R
I think it would be awsome to organize a pre-show and afterparty as a group from the forum. I was originally planning on going to the HALI show, but they sold out before i got my Tix. Anyways, we were contacting the tour promoter to see what they could do for us if anything. If there is enough people up for it, we could possibly do the same thing here. How sweet wuld it be if we got to meet the band?Let me know What ya think or if ur interested. (by the way I'm coming up from N.B)A8R
Allen8R
Allright, it's nice to see such a great response. All your ideas sound great and wonderful. So glad to have such an awsome turnout. I heard that there is a hard rock cafe near the concert, i think that would be a prime spot for a drink. I wonder if the owner would keep it open for us? Most people will really look into this as the concert date nears.I'm up for a pre-show party in Ottawa.I should be heading back to Montreal right after the concert as I'll need to be leaving Montreal to go to Quebec City for the next GNR concert. Slash's armpit
The Hard Rock cafe is actually in the stadium complex. I would go if I could, but I'm taking along some friends of mine and I don't know at which time we're arriving. We'll be leaving right after the concert though. I'm guessing It'll end sometime around 12:00 - 1:00? Edited October 9, 2006 by Slash's armpit

cdnmullet
Hey like the 'admin' said, most people will start getting into the mood a few days before the show. There is no longer a Hard Rock Cafe in Scotia Bank place. It has been replaced by another 'chain' restaurant. There is a HardRock cafe in the Marketplace, downtown Ottawa. I doubt they will have a pre-show but I will listen to the radio stations in Ottawa like The Bear (106.9) or CHEZ (106.1).Because of the 'no smoking law' in Ottawa, there's likely to be a huge winter tent outside the doors where you can grill one and drink one if you're discret. Most people will have a few beers in the parking lot or at the entrance. This will happen to matter how cold it gets: there is snow now (Sunday, Nov. 5) in Ottawa.See ya in the pit
