SEBASTIAN BACH Forced To Cancel Puerto Rico, Halifax Dates On Upcoming GUNS N' ROSES Tour

Posted on Sunday, October 08, 2006 at 11:01:21

SEBASTIAN BACH (ex-SKID ROW) has posted the following message on his official website:

"We are so excited to be going on tour with GUNS N' ROSES in the biggest rooms in North America for the next four months! I have waited for the perfect opportunity to tour North America again and Guns N' Roses is absolutely the greatest tour any of us could ever imagine being on. It has been over ten years since I have screamed in a lot of these places, and there are many shows on this tour I have dreamed of playing but never in my career have I actually played ...... until now! Madison Square Garden, Air Canada Center, and The Palace of Auburn Hills are all just some of the dates on the tour that I have wanted to play for years & can't believe in 2006 I finally get to rock in these hallowed halls!!! So it is with a heavy heart that I have to announce that there are two shows that we unfortunately cannot play on the tour .. Puerto Rico and Halifax , both due to prior commitments. I am especially bummed out about missing the Halifax show because I have many friends there now due to my buds The Trailer Park Boys! I have never played Halifax before and was really looking forward to partying with Ricky, Bubbles and Julian and the rest of the cast and crew in their home town ! I hereby make it a commitment of mine to come back to Halifax and we would be there on the GNR tour but I have to shoot a TV show in LA that day. FUCK !!!! We will however be on every other show of the GNR tour!!! This is like a dream come true! Again!"

I dont know how I feel aboout that. Kinda good and kinda bad. It's funny cuz I was going to go to the Halifax show, but didn't because the tix sold out before I could get some. So I had to Get them for the Ottawa show instead. GNR and Skid Row have always been my two favorut bands and I could not believe it when I heard Baz was touring with them.

Wow, maybe there is a god afterall...

Aside from Axl that is....lol

Have you even seen the show? It's f'n hysterical. I don't know if I'd say it's the best show ever but it's definitely in the conversation. But it's all subjective, everyone will have their favourites, i.e. what they think is the best. For me right now it's TPBs, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and Ali G.

On topic, glad Bach didn't cancel the TO show. I'm interested in hearing him actually sing rather than just yell out lines for My Michelle. Truth is I'm not a big Bach fan, but I'm sure he'll be better than the alternative (some crap new rock band). I just heard 18 and Life again yesterday in the car and it really hit me that this guy had a totally awe-inspiring voice. I'd like to hear him sing this way again.

I love Bach, and Slave to the Grind by Skid Row is one of my favourite metal albums. And yes, Trailer Park Boys kicks ass! What a fucking hilarious show.

Besides that, does anyone know when 'Angel Down' is coming out this month? Which day?

Do me a favor and cancel Ames IA too.

And Chicago.

Oh, I'm sure you'd get some flash in the pan Emo band you probably love at the moment. Dare I ask who you'd rather see? Papa Roach? Pfft.. Bach IS rock and is a perfect opener for GnR.

There are plenty of very good Indie bands out there that Axl should of picked. But I would not expect anybody who is a fan of 80's cock rock to know what Indie is.

You consider Slave to the Grind cock rock? Yeah, right, whatever you say.

For the record, I'm very much into the Indie scene, pal. Probably a whole hell of a lot more than most. I just don't think it would be suited for this tour.

What the hell are you talking about "suited for this tour"??

Maybe you don't know what "indie" means.
