Awesome picks Adnan, I see all the classics there. Do you know Phil Ochs? His 'THERE AND NOW: LIVE IN VANCOUVER' is brilliant and looking at your list, I think you would really like him - the real deal folk singer from the 60's.

Hmm but it depends on whether you think it's the journalists who create the existing music industry, or whether you believe the listeners at home influence which bands become successful...

Personally I think the internet gives us way more access to new bands (through myspace etc) but it's also kind of an illusion of musical democracy. The media still influences which bands get publicity and become popular "underground" successes.

So maybe you could become a journalist and change the music scene.

Civil War, Yesterdays, 14 Years, Breakdown, Pretty Tied Up, Locomotive, So Fine, Estranged, You Could Be Mine - really good songs, ranging from simply above average to mildly great. I think it's their second-best album.
