Roses
It's very gay, but it was a hit for a reason. Why do you make these random observations? It was probably a hit for the same reason songs by the Spice Girls and the *shudder* Crazy Frog were hits. And of course sing-along hand actions always help. I'm sure it will remain in tacky clubs and drunken wedding parties for many years to come...

Teslarocker
One of the worst songs ever. When the Macarena briefly replaced it as the song that got played at sporting events, I was actually hoping that the change would be permanent. I don't love the Macarena. Not at all. But I think it's a million times better than YMCA

Death Star
I like only the keyboard work in YMCA the vocals and lyrics suck though. anyway here is my YMCA Star Wars parodyyoung man there's a place you can train. I said young he's the right dude for the game. He can lift X-wing-fighters-from-the-lake. Young man run to Dagoba. Run man down to Dagoba. so- you -can- start training -to -be - a -jedi- master. It's fun to train with Y-O-D-A! Y-O-D-A! He's a jedi master. He's no priest or pastor but- he- can- use- the- force it's funt to train with Y-O-D-A! Y-O-D-A! he's a Jedi master he's no priest or pastor cause he is Y-O-D-A! Y-O-D-A! the - line means the kind of vocal breaks n stuff before the chorus of YMCA.
