I see it this way. In general I can´t stand it when it´s to bluesy. But Slash tooked the Blues to another level, and made it hmmm.. Ok, and somtimes really great. I don´t like blues, and that indirectly doesn´t make me a great fan of Slash. Still he is for me the greatest "bluesy" guitar player ever..

You have to question who was more famous at the time they agreed to work with 'less savoury' artists.

Fortus probably needed the money/recognition more then.

But whatever anyone says whatever Fortus did it got him playing with Guns N Roses a band whose message board you're on, so I wouldn't take the piss too much.

Slash is great and so is fortus, I don't really like them playing with shit people, but it's better to play with them before you've made it massive than after in my opinion.

Too many of us put our musician's on pedestals even call them Gods. Many a musicians going out on a limb creates something beautiful, refreshing and new. Yet all of them in a moment of weakness, greed, or self love have made mistakes, but that doesn't mean they are sell outs. It simply means they are human.
