wasted
Ok it's not a real album. But it's exactly what they should have done anyway. It's really loose and open and relaxing and sloppy and awesome. I breathed a sigh of relief to hear it. Instead of all this tight ass metal. just a really beautiful double. I hope they keep with this style for an album if they reform.Shake yr money maker, bitch.
Truckin'
I love the Crowes. I felt that Lions was a weak album after more than a decade of consistently fantastic records, but the Lost Crowes is fucking awesome.
axlslash
They're already reformed. They're on the road now and hitting the studio next month to record an 07 release.
Truckin'
Yeah I missed that in the original message, they reformed. I saw them in May during the Canadian tour. They did a short US tour too I think in the spring.Did I mention how awesome they are?
wasted
I saw them warm up for the Stones in Wembley. They are quality shit. I was reading some old news about how they might get back together lol. Last one I bought was By yr Side and it was ok but I prefer them if they stay more traditional, bluesy, rootsy. u know just keep repeating Southern Harmony. murray_TH
The Crowes are a great band. They are awesome live.
axlslash
The thing I love about the Crowes is how they have the ballsy and heavy sound of Pearl Jam with the musicality and chemistry of the Dead. Great grunge-jam fusion-type group. Love em!
bass71player
I saw them on this tour they're on right now. Best show I've seen this year.with the exception of the hammerstein show i got to see, i'm gonna agree with you, i got to see them with robert randolph and the family band. awesome fucking show, even got it on instantlive - the recording of the show i was at, sold to me RIGHT after the show.at the concert they played a lot of southern harmony, if you get a chance, adnan, check em out... they're playing NJ soon and that's not far from canada... i would assume they have at least one or two dates lined up for you guys up north

M_Riot
I'm looking forward to seeing them - are they touring the UK? Rich Robinson is an absolute prick on his own though.
bass71player
for some reason i thought adnan started this topic... my last post was aimed at wasted. it's one thing seeing them open for someone - i saw them open for tom petty and the heartbreakers last year - but seeing their show is soooo much better...
