Rebel Yell
The Bends, Ok Computer, and Kid A are their best albums; buy all three.

rQueen
Amazing album! It's one of these albums that you want to listen to from the beginning to the end without skipping any track!
Dead Flower
It's a great mix of the pop-sensibilities of 'The Bends' and the more progressive/ambient sound they started to explore with 'Kid A'. Not a bad track from start to finish, though Fitter Happier should have been scrapped. It fits the mood and theme of the album, but you'll only ever listen to it once.Top 5 tracks:Homesick AlienKarma PoliceExit Music No SurprisesParanoid Android
murray_TH
Great Album. Was listening to Paranoid Android on the way home from work strangely. That album's never been far away from my CD/Mp3 player since the day it came out.Art
SofaKingWhat
To this day I still don't see the whoop over Radiohead. Can't stand the guys voice.
AtariLegend
I think its great album, but I prefer listening to "The Bends" than listening to "OK Computer" because critics say it better. This is one of the very few examples of where sometimes more commercialized sounding albums can sound better.
Guest Ohdistortedsmile1789
When you actually look at the tracklist, it's hard to believe how many gems its got. I was going to agree with Songbird there until I thought about this.
motownjunkie
its radiohead at their creative peak, they really opened their minds in terms of musical ability and lyrically it covers everything thats wrong with the world ....the guitar playing in paranoid android and lucky is astounding ....yeah some people may find thoms vocals a little off putting but there is no doubt he can sing ....on the bends he sings like an angelthere is always alot of hype over this band but its all justified if you consider their entire back catalog of b-sides and albums, they are truly one of the most important bands since the beatles and pink floyd, led zepplinpersonally i listen to "the bends" more then any of their other albums Edited October 31, 2006 by motownjunkie
rocketking
I think it's their 3rd best album, behind The Bends and Pablo Honey.... JMO.

I failed. why? ...is it the depressing feeling of it, i think the music is very upbeat and intense in contrast to the lyrics.....its like if you go and see a film thats "sad, funny, happy" all at once.its hard not to respect it for what it is, a masterpiece even though i dont listen to all that much

motownjunkie
definately personally i prefer the bends because of the guitar "sonic youth style" thrashing and its a little more mainstream and easy to get into ..where as ok computer is a bit more challenging, i cant get enough of jonny greenwoods guitar style on both albums

In Leigh's defense; Radiohead is a difficult band to get into right off the bat. You can't just pick up OK Computer and just get into it without any starting point of reference. I think what helps make OK Computer a great album is that it's an excellent progression from Pablo Honey and The Bends. Leigh, try starting with The Bends first just so you get a feel for the band and THEN go onto the other stuff.

Guest +*Michelle*+
I don't actually OWN the album myself, I've heard most of the songs except for "Subterranean Homesick Alien" um....."Tourist, The" -I've no idea whether the names of these songs are right or not, I'm just copying them off a web page- and "Fitter Happier". The rest I've heard and are mostly very good. Karma police probably being my favourite. I'm just watching the video for no surprises, I love the bit where he gets to breath again and he gasps for breath and starts singing with a smile on his face bless Also it really annoys me when people say radiohead are a bunch of whiners and how their music is depressing blaa blaa blaa ... it really ticks me off

motownjunkie
Their music is very depressive. But yeah it's proper emotion, not whining. They generally bring up proper issues not just bitching about anything.
