A couple of completely disgusting choices (Nirvana at 27? PLEASE!), and obviously Eric Clapton should have been in the 20's. The Clash and Bruce Springsteen should be in the top 10, but it ain' bad...

Buddy did a whole lot more for rock than the Zep ever did.

Are you kidding me, almost every rock band after Zeppelin sounded somewhat like them and their influence is so severe that every hard rock band is influnced by them. They are the blue print for almost every hard rock band. Buddy Holly might of been earlier and him dieing in his prime might add mystique and aura to him, but Zeppelin are so much more important and frankly better than him.
