I could be wrong but unless I'm mistaken,Mr. Jones passed on a few years ago!!Quincy Jones is alive, although I do believe he had to have surgery for a brain tumor awhile ago.EDIT: He had a brain aneurysm in the 70's, in which he had a metal plate put in his head, and b/c of it can never play the trumpet as it might dislodge the chip he had put in.Also, I'm surprised this hasn't been locked or deleted yet! OJ Simpson
Haha, my bad Mr. Manson, you'll receive a free bag of balls and some naked-lady tees "on the house". Hurry now, you've got a good chance of winning given OJ sucks and the other 2 are below ground...*strikes 'Turn_It_Up' with a blunt object* *drives off in Ford Bronco*

Rainman
What's with everyones sudden obsession with Michael Jackson's Thriller?I've been registered here like a week and this is the 3rd thread about it i've seen so far :/http://www.mygnrforum.com/index.php?showtopic=82162&hl=http://www.mygnrforum.com/index.php?showtopic=81949&hl=Great album anyways. It is the all time leader in album sales. Even though Mike is a freak it is an album that everyone on this forum would like CD to beat in sales. Gonna be tough though ! Thanks,Rainman

Quincy Jones produced "Thriller" of Michael Jackson.Really bad idea. I don't think Quincy Jones does Hard Rock/Metal music, even main stream Rock Metal. I'm pretty sure it's not his specialty, nor do I think the personalities would work well together. It's like suggesting "Gee well wouldn't it be swell and neato if Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis (of Janet Jackson fame) produced Slayer???" YEA I THINK NOT!!! rockstar81
I stopped reading when you said GN'R are "metal". Guns N' Roses are NOT metal. Edited October 30, 2006 by rockstar81
