Oasis took home the award for Best Act in the World Today along with the Classic Songwriter Award for Noel Gallagher. motownjunkie Posted October 31, 2006 Share Posted October 31, 2006 (edited) Oasis were the best band in the world in 1994 when they released "Definately Maybe" .....but since then they have released music that lives in the shadows of that album, certainly not the best band in the world but were in the mid nineties, U2 were the best band in the world in 1991 when they released "Achtung Baybe" ..since then they have released music that has lived in the shadows of that album and are certainly not the best band in the world.Radiohead on the other hand..............................
