Matt13, you sir, are a poet and a scholar. -_-

Shootingstar, you are also a scholar.... not so much a poet though. :P

And Leigh..... you're neither a poet nor a scholar  ...... just kiddin' bro! lol. You da man!

Yup, I'm just kicking the proverbial can down the alley...

Who's round is it anyway? B)

Right... I think it's my turn...... I'll call the waitress over.

ha good read

you must be pissed

it'd be good if axl did a real interview to clear some of these things up, it'd stop 95% of bitching

i don't think Axl was behind Del James words though so i doubt he wanted the remark about the originals in there

just 1 more month and hopefully we'll see things moving :)

Axl doesnt give a shit about all the bitching. He's living his life, performing in his band and enjoying himself.

Keep bitching and moaning like ignorant assholes... it only causes you anxiety... not Axl or the band. We're all anxiously awaiting this... but at least learn to go about everyday life and await it like a NORMAL fucking person would by checking up on it and WAITING.

Amen.

BTW, is it hypocritical to say "amen" if you're not really Christian? I guess so, huh? Can we get a ruling on this?

No, it's not hypocritical to say "amen", even if you're not Christian. If that was not the case, Christians shouldn't be allowed to say "mazel tov" at the conclusion of a Jewish wedding ceremony, or wear a yamaka during the ceremony. I was born a Christian (Catholic) and attend a lot of Jewish ceremony's... work in the wedding world in TV land lets say.

So,based on that theory, my ruling:

"Amen" can be used to sum up your thoughts being the same as the thoughts of another person that you agree with, despite your religious beliefs.

Amen.

Some of the people trying their hardest to defend Axl are bigger cry babies than the ones who actually take a step back and look at the big picture.

People are going to say get out in the real world and stop whining?! Maybe those same sheep should get out and stop defending. Because in the end, Axl is going to do whatever it is he wants, whether you're the one kicking him in the balls or sucking on them.

Don't wanna get in an argument, but surely those stepping back and looking at the "bigger picture" are accepting what's happening now and enjoying it rather that whining about each individual show etc...

People should get over it and wait and see what happens. We'll hear if something exciting is gonna happen.

Thanks for chiming in, Obie Wan. Everybody take note that agrees with Kaneda Thomase does.

How many times have you emailed BBF about this so far, Thomase?

So, basically, this is all of Kaneda's rants mangled into one PMS thread? I'll pass. Nothing I haven't heard before. 15 years? Get out more. Pissed off at Axl? Live a life that doesn't revolve around CD. Once again, I'm sure your whining will bring the album out faster . It's obviously frustrating, and everyone feels it. Not just you. Your self-centered ego-threads can take a hike for a while.

By the way, 15 years is laughable. Not because we've had to wait that long, but because that was 1991, the year that the Illusions were released. Now, give me a fucking break. You didn't listen from 'Right Next Door to Hell' all the way to 'My World' and then the next day say, "Hey, I'm ready for Chinese Democracy." Your overexaggeration is embarrassing. If you've genuinely waited 15 years for this album, you have serious mental issues.

Don't like the way people kiss Axl's ass? How is it any different than you constantly whining in an attempt to get Axl's attention? They both seem quite similar to me. Maybe your PMSing made you contradict yourself so much that you can't find a way back to just being a broken record.

Lucky this board hasn't been up for 15 years, or else we'd still be getting the same monotonous threads, and some of us would have some weird hope that you may actually say something productive. In reality, you're almost identical to your own vision of Axl. You can't stand the lack of news. I really can't stand the lack of originality in your threads. Yet, we keep getting the same garbage. Next week will be the same, and plenty of people will come and praise you and lick your ass, just as you perceive people do with Axl.

It's funny how ironic this situation is in terms of the relation between you and your own vision of Axl and the band of Guns N' Roses. I'll be expecting your next rehash post possibly around November 8th? Whether you prove me wrong or not remains to be seen. However, I'm sure we'll all know what to expect from it.

Personally, I was really happy with the Del james rant and agree 100% about the lateness issue. I remember going to shows and being out all night and it never bothered me. Rock n roll has never been something I associated with schedules. I know I'm a night owl but I think Its fucking lame to complain that a rock band took a long time to get on stage, especially when they do usually play for two hours.

If you're worried about getting your kids to sleep, or getting to work or school the next day then I agree "stay at home" quit being a fucking pussy. The best nights of my life have usually been a crazy party/show that has lasted all hours of the night and forced me to go directly to school or work on no sleep. If you want to see a calculated punctual show go to a broadway musical with talking cats.

^ cheap shot.

But I like your posts. Unlike the other Axl-ites you actually try to articulate your thoughts. That's cool.

I'm glad you think so, but I'm not an Axl-ite. I find the people who classify other people as such (or a Slashaholic or whatever) are some of the very people that Del is singling out in his letter. They really need to get a life.

I'm a GNR fan. If Axl is running the show, that's great. Whatever. That doesn't make me an 'Axl-ite'. I believe the band has a collective vision. Yes, the band. And I think we'll discover that when the album drops. From what I've heard so far, I like the direction they're going in and I'm a fan of that work.

I'm a Guns N' Roses fan. Nothing more. And I'm happy with what we're getting from them right now. Other folks need to chill the fuck out, and that's what Del James brutally got across.

I understand that. But there is always going to be some criticism, like anything in life, nothing is perfect. Except of course if you're an Axl swinger, because obviously there is nothing to be critical about when it comes to him.

But whatever, the testosterone levels in this thread is nauseating. Keep up with the virtual high-fives and pats on the back. Bravo. You all cyber kicked Kaneda's ass, even though every point he made is STILL valid.

Kaneda, who do you think you are? A president? A prime minister? No I got it, you're the Queen that wants an answer to all his question. This is none of your business madam.

GN'R is music, not a fucking public company that have to tell their investors on how great the company is doing.

So go back to whatever your life is!

This person sums up my thoughts on the matter. Lads in fairness, the band is touring, the album is promised, and probably on the way. So could ye give it a rest...

Oh of course and I understand the criticism, and as I said it's a do you like Kaneda or not thread more than anything.... I agree with about half of what kaneda says every time he posts, but he always ruins the good points with something ridiculous.... anyway....

Isn't testosterone more about fighting and trying to shag things.... it's more male bonding I think... :)
