bluesy
Axl's voice was strained back in that time, but HOLY SHIT, that was an insane performance. Definitely the most energetic I've seen him in anything. Check out St. Louis '91 for another kickass version of that tune. Obviously when you're going that psycho, you're not gonna give the best vocal performance. Guns was never about having a perfect show. You want flawless vocal performances with singers standing in one place the whole time, you can go to a Mariah Carey concert. As far as Axl pulling off Perfect Crime today, you bet your ass he can. His voice is in the best condition its been since before Appetite.
Chris Axl
I could barely pull it off is his hey-day.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8QkK1jkh3joAre you fucking kidding me? That's one of the worst vocal performances I've ever seen. I don't think he even had a voice at that show! That is one of my favourite eprformances ever, I would LOVE to see anyone else do something as incredible as that.I love the performance, but his voice was clearly shot there. If you actually think that's even a decent vocal, you know nothing about singing.dude, you think My World is better than Don't Cry, Estranged and Breakdown.I dont take you seriously..... You want flawless vocal performances with singers standing in one place the whole show...Oh it's not about flawless vocal performance. It's that his voice was completely shot at that show, that has nothing to do with his insane jumping around, it's just that he overused it, point is if Chris_Axl wants to be taken seriously, he shouldn't point to that and say great vocal. A great vocal is WTTJ at VMA's 88, or even WTTJ or Nightrain or NR from Rock AM Ring. Most of the other UYI tour performances of it were better. dobadog
I could barely pull it off is his hey-day.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8QkK1jkh3joI have that clip as part of the whole show on some old bootleg video tape Is this the only time they have performed Perfect Crime live? It's a good attempt for a live performance, although it does sound like it pushes Axl a little to far, just as one of the sections of Better does. bass71player
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bRdLa6YpAT8...ted&search=found this one on youtube also... i think it's pretty solid, he's not going as crazy as the indiana one, and the quality isn't so great... just another one to look ati really think he'd be able to do it live and i think it would be a nice kick in the ass to follow a long as guitar solo or something. the band hasn't really played anything this aggressive - some AFD tunes come close, but perfect crime is just on another level of aggresion

Rockworld
Axl can do it... he will sing it differently.. conserving his vocal energy for certain essential parts just like he does in many songs now... it`ll be alright. And anyway.. Guns N Roses may not perform it... whatever.. sure it`ll be another great show!
