It's definitely one of my favorites as well. Have you heard the complete Bitches Brew sessions box set? A friend of mine has it and there are some amazing alternate versions-I plan on buying it soon.

Yes, I have it and it's worth the money for sure.

Gash, I do the same.

I should probably just let this thread die, but the thought that only 3 people here acknowledge one of the most influential albums of all time really bugs me.

I was surprised as well, even on this forum.

The entire second disc is classic. Not a fan of disc one though.

Really? "Pharoah's Dance" is my favorite track ever. On disc 2, I think only "Spanish Key" comes close.

I think "Pharoah's Dance" but I usually shut it off during the title track. And it only has 2 songs on the whole 1st disc, so I can say I only like half the songs.

I like disc 2 better because of more variety. "Spanish Key" is my favorite & I also love "Sanctuary".

The whole thing is essential though.

Yes, "Sanctuary" is amazing.

I'm actually not surprised that you are a fan of the album.

I'm not even a Jazz fan or anything, but I for some reason bought this one and liked it.

Well, there really isn't anything else like it. Even from Miles.

I need to get into Miles :(

Boss hasn't paid me for 4 weeks though, so yeah, money is tight to say the least lol.

You really do as a serious music fan. Definitely get Bitches Brew for the fusion stuff and try Kind of Blue for more traditional jazz.
