Guest Ohdistortedsmile1789
Bitches Brew is the best album ever released. Nothing I've ever heard can compare to the feelings it gives me.
bax
It's definitely one of my favorites as well. Have you heard the complete Bitches Brew sessions box set? A friend of mine has it and there are some amazing alternate versions-I plan on buying it soon.

bax
I should probably just let this thread die, but the thought that only 3 people here acknowledge one of the most influential albums of all time really bugs me.

Jackamo!
The entire second disc is classic. Not a fan of disc one though.

On disc 2, I think only "Spanish Key" comes close.
Jackamo!
I think "Pharoah's Dance" but I usually shut it off during the title track. And it only has 2 songs on the whole 1st disc, so I can say I only like half the songs. I like disc 2 better because of more variety. "Spanish Key" is my favorite & I also love "Sanctuary".The whole thing is essential though.

Jackamo!
I'm not even a Jazz fan or anything, but I for some reason bought this one and liked it.

Well, there really isn't anything else like it. Even from Miles.
adnan
I don't think it's anywhere near as good as any of the albums on my Top Albums ListBut it's really, really, really good. It'd probably make the top 100.
Estranged Reality
It's his best album.
johnezz
I need to get into Miles Boss hasn't paid me for 4 weeks though, so yeah, money is tight to say the least lol.

Definitely get Bitches Brew for the fusion stuff and try Kind of Blue for more traditional jazz.
Estranged Reality
The Complete Birth Of The Cool would also be a good album to pick up despite its hefty price tag. And if you end up liking Miles, you'll probably dig Charlie Parker, Tom Waits and Coltrane.
Guest Ohdistortedsmile1789
I'd recommend anything from the second quintet for acoustic Miles.
