I doubt it. But you'll notice that for Monday there are only two guests booked. Usually on these talk shows they'll have three guests, i.e. two guests that the hosts can sit down and talk to and then either a comedian or musical act. But I doubt it.

Dammit. Leno's on same time, not worth it.

huh? leno is the least funny person on the planet. worst show ever.

:o Are you kidding me? I think Leno is 10 times better than Letterman. But, hey. I guess I will watch just in case, but this is highly unlikely.

Leno fuckin sucks and has no backbone . David Letterman is a much better interview . Letterman will go down as a late night legend . Leno will go down as the guy with the big chin that replaced Johnny Carson . When Conan O'brien takes over the Tonight Show in a couple yrs, Jay Leno will be forgotten even if he does end up going to ABC .

it could very well be. Even in cases when artist are already booked they can get moved due to more current or more important guests , as it has happened on quite a few ocassions in the past. And there's no need for something to promote, as the foo fighters have appeared on letterman a lot of times just due to the fact that they are david's favorite band. Bob saget appears on conan quite often just for the sake of it.

and guns can easily play letterman and then fly to the show.

The only day it would really be a possibility is Thursday since GNR will actually be in the vicinity for the next day's show.

Monday they have a show in Maine and Letterman tapes in the late afternoon.

That being said, I really don't beleive it although it would be cool-

It's gotta be no more than about a one hour flight. So they could conceivably do Letterman, then fly back to Maine and have plenty of time to start the show.

But yeah, I'm not holding my breath.

Plus, they are always late, another half an hour wouldn't hurt.

Leno is funnier than Letterman & Conan is just plain stupid. I like Jimmy Kimmel's show the best tho.

urchin also posted this a minute ago at cd.com:

"Please note that my post was copied and pasted by another user to HTGTH and was summarily deleted within a matter of hours. Granted this could be a simple case of Jarmo insulating himself from well-deserved criticism, but consider the possibility that it was more than that. That maybe the talent boards to which I referred in my initial post were the ones in Dave's office, not the ones so easily accessed on the Late Show website by skeptics, in their misguided bids to demonstrate the superiority of their loyalty to GN'R, seeking to disprove the claims of a stranger. Consider the possibility (because it's a fact) that the schedule posted on the website means very little, that schedules constantly shift and that GN'R is big enough to bump anybody in the world for a surprise performance. Consider the possibility (because it's a fact) that this week's shows were not filmed last week, that they will be filmed this week. Consider the possibility that this stranger is not lying. That regardless of whether GN'R shows up to play, that his information is accurate and that he is posting out of long-time love for GN'R and its fans."
