jack99 Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 I just found a great program that I thought many of you would find useful. I needed a program the renamed all my audiofiles to "Artist - Title.mp3" because my iPod had fucked up once and now they were all named "zxct.mp3", "yjerf.mp3" and so on. Well, the ID3 tag information was intact so based on that, all files was renamed in a few seconds. It's also great to use to sort files named something like "gnr-november_rain.mp3". Tagscanner got a nice clean interface and definitely does the job. Easy to use too.Screenshot:http://img141.imageshack.us/img141/4452/shotbca9.jpgDownload:TagScanner 4.9 build 496(or try the 5.0 betabuild 507)Features:Rename files based on the tag information Advanced multiple files TAG editorSupports MP3, OGG, Musepack, Monkey’s Audio, FLAC, AAC, OptimFROG, SPEEX, WavePack filesSupports ID3 1.0 / 1.1 / 2.2 / 2.3 / 2.4 tags, APE v1 and v2 tags, Vorbis CommentsSupports for ID3v2 Lyrics and Attached picturesTAGs generation from folder/filenameTAGs versions conversionsTAGs case conversionsImport tag information from an online database (freedb)Manual text-search for information in freedbWorksheets technologyRecursive subfolders supportPowerful Playlists editorWrite extended playlists like Winamp or SoniquePlaylists export to HTML, Excel and CSV(e.g. for MySQL) Quote
