Almost Famous
So, I know that this has somewhat been discussed before, but let's get back to Axl's vocal influences. What would you like to hear Axl play now-a-days? Personally, this is what I'd like to hear;http://download.yousendit.com/371F88DA7FB8FFC6 - Axl speaking about Nazareth.Love Hurts - Nazareth (The song that got Axl to sing in his high voice)Fallen Angel - Nazareth (Just a great song, Axl would be amazing on the 'Don't you think it's time to showDon't you think it's time we know,What's in your heart' part)20th Century Boy - T. Rex (Axl would tear this up.)I'd also like to hear Axl doing some early floyd (Piper At The Gates Of Dawn era)Discuss. Manstis1604
The new band would OWN Edgar Winter's Frankenstein. That electro-synth solo at the end is just the kind of thing Pitman could really sink his teeth into.Yeah maybe, I don't know if any of the guys could pull off the feel of the song, especially the guitar and drums. There's not a whole lot of funk in this new industrial GNR. And what would Axl do, its an instrumental. Actually I think it'd be a great idea for Axl to just leave the stage and let the band jam out together for a bit, rather than giving everybody solos.
