The "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Cure Parkinson's ..." event, run by the Michael J. Fox Foundation, drew a host of celebrities including Martin Scorcese, Sheryl Crow, Rob Thomas and Axl Rose. Earlier, Ali had been on hand to witness his daughter Laila defend her WBC women's super middleweight title with an easy victory over US boxer Shelley Burton.
