baxl Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 I was afraid to go to the concert because I might be disappointed by my favourite rock performer. WOW!! ...what was I thinking!! It was a f****** blast from start to finish!Axl didn't let me down one bit..... what an amazing artist! My question on the setlist---- what was the weird sound that opened Axl's set, just before WTTJ. I was mesmerized by the sound and it was the perfect entré into his set. There was some discussion on this forum (shortly after the concert) about this sound but I can't seem to locate it. If I remember correctly, someone was suggesting that it came from "War of the Worlds". Ever since the Ottawa concert, this sound is stuck in my head!! I'd love to know where it comes from and how I can get a copy of it.Thanks. Quote
