axlrose42025
i know some have side projects, but they have wasted 10 or more years on an album that is up in the air to being done, delayed etc., I'm not bashin axl at all but a person can only take so much look at us fans for instance hell i read on other forums ppl talkin bout robbing axl or worse
Patience 4 Axl
If they still get a paycheck for doing nothing, they don't need to go anywhere. Plus, like you said some do have little projects on the side, and having the "member of GnR" attached to anything can only help.
Vadin
You never know.. a few members left GN'R just because of that reason.. (Paul Huge, BH)
axlrose42025
i just remembered this didn't axl say at hammerstein that "just the other day that me and tommy were lookin at each other and something along the lines of not being able to stand each other or some shit like that? teknophyle83
I don't think Paul Huge left for that reason, but I'm pretty sure that's the reason Josh Freese and Dave Navarro didn't want to continue work with Axl on the project. And of course Buckethead.
axlrose42025
well if another member leaves its gonna be another 10 yrs b4 c.d sees light of day i'm alredy hearing rumours of brain gone for good i just wish that they can pick a perm. lineup release some albums, tour, and go on being the greatest rock band EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just_me
I thought Paul left because he didn't want to play in front of huge crowds. But I can't see why the others would leave. They get paid wether it comes out or not, and this way they have time for their other projects. Its pretty much any musicians dream situation. Rebel Yell
If they were going to quit, they would have done so between 2002 and 2005.

Gunzen
I am sure they would leave if they had a better offer, just like you in your job would, but I dont think touring iwth Axl rose hurts anything at all. Parties must be tremendous, ad I am sure the pay is fine.

axlsnutsack
well it will be back to cleaning toilets for Robin if he quit so I doubt he is going to go anywhere soon

tat2d1
I wouldn't blame them if they did quit, but i don't see why they would. It's an easy paycheck. Of course, most musicians with integrity, IMO, want their music to be heard.
rider13
I could see some of the members leaving eventually. I suspect it depends on when they get sick of waiting for the album to be out. Though at this point if it is not out this year I am suspecting it has more to do with Merk leaving Sacuary and Universal not wanting to release it unless Axl agrees to do heavy commercial promotions. Axl already did that and I suspect does not want to go back there he just wants to put out his albulm and let people who like it buy it.

In fact, NIN sold more tickets then than GN'R has now...at least in this country.

pebbles
I think some will go on and do other things, how long does a musician want to do the same thing over & over.
