Need some information for a project

I am not really a fan, not not a fan either just ilearning but I have an assignement

It is a compare and contrast piece My topic is On Guns and Roses, New Guns and Roses and Velvet Revolver

I have googled and am reading tons of stuff on the old band.but not so much on new guys or the information is different every time. Bucket head no Bucket head three guitars two guitars IZZy?Dizzy? Is a member isn't a member isn't a member but still plays with the band? How can you not be a member but play with the band? Any Way what other sites and pages on this place are best for accurate info?

Also is Velvet Revolver a super group or not. That is one point my partner says we should cover, but not everyone seems to agree. Maybe I should ask that at their site so if you don't know never mind.

Also Appetites for Destruction is the Old groups best record right? and Velvet Revolver have only one Contruband right? I have not listened to it yet, but I like the other one. I know Welcome to the Jungle and Paradise city already, but it has some other good songs too. Anyway if any of you have time thanks for helping me

Its my belief that Guns N' Roses has a revolving door policy when it comes to band members, much like Oasis and other bands have. Those who blame Axl for this dont look at the facts, the entire original band minus Adler made the decision allowing this to happen when they all teamed up and kicked Adler out ending the original lineup. From that point onwards Guns was a band with an open door policy, a decision that was made by Slash, Duff, Izzy AND Axl. People have a hard time accepting this but its the way things work and will most probably continue to work!

Both Velvet Revolver and this incarnation of Guns n' Roses have been called Supergroups by the press. Both bands are made up of artists who have an extensive background in music, coming from various bands. Look on the biography link above to see what work the current players have done.

Appetite is considered to be the best record, one of the all time greatest rock records. UYI are basically the good the band and the ugly of Guns n' Roses and depending on who you speak to people have different views of the record. Some love it all, some only love one of the CDs, others think that if they had put all the best material from both albums on one album then it would have been a CD that would have stood up to Appetite.
