Guest Ohdistortedsmile1789
You seem to be a good guy, so yeah, what the fuck is that all about?I have very strong feelings on this subject, and while my venom may have been misdirected in this particular case, Chris Axl, an avid fan of a tremendously American group, calling me a "muppet", really set me off. Anyone who calls someone a "muppet" doesn't have much of an idea about American language. Yeah, this doesn't really make sense etc. But he's an annoying kid.On the whole, I don't think others desire to be Americans exactly. But there's a very misinformed obsession with the culture. Why Europeans, from nations of such rich histories, rave about Jack Daniels and hang Confederate flags, is beyond me. And while this may not be widespread, it happens. I think it's easy for you as a Canadian to have your own opinion on this, but as both a proud American and a globally aware individual, my feelings are more complex.I'm not sure if I'm coming across at all here, but I tried. If the opportunity arises I'll make a better case for my feelings.good god, I stopped reading after the 2 first sentences. If you got that offended by the owrd muppet then im so, so sorry.want a hug?I wasn't offended, I was amazed.
