Probably Nightwish(thought they fired the singer Tarja Turunen) If you like Evanesence(or how you type it) you are going to LOVE Nightwish. They didnt copy Evanesence by the way. They are older band. I dont like Evanesence but i like Nightwish by the way.Another good band is Apulanta, not my favourite but its good for finnish. They sing for finnish. Most famous finnish band must be Lordi, HIM or Hanoi Rocks thought. makketue
Also here are lyrics for Tallullah: Remember when we used to look how sun set far away'And how you said: "this is never over"I believed your every word and I quess you did tooBut now you're saying: "hey, let's think this over"You take My hand and pull me next to you, so close to youI have a feeling you don't have the wordsI found one for you, kiss your cheek, say bye, and walk awayDon't look back cause I am cryingI remember little things, you hardly ever doTell me why.I don't know why it's overI remember shooting stars, the walk we took that nightI hope your wish came true, mine betrayed meYou let my hand go, and you fake a smile for meI have a feeling you don't know what to doI look deep in your eyes, hesitate a while...Why are you crying'Tallulah, It's easier to live alone than fear the time it's overTallulah, find the words and talk to me, oh, Tallulah,This could be... heavenI see you walking hand in hand with long-haired drummer of the bandIn love with her or so it seems, he's dancing with my beauty queenDon't even dare to say you hi, still swallowing the goodbyeBut I know the feelings still alive- still alive[solo]I lost my patience once, so do you punish me nowI'll always love you, no matter what you doI'll win you back for me if you give me a chanceBut there is one thing you must understand[Chorus]Edit: and the link was http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?acti...5C6209A1AD948F2Give it a try its really good. It has nice piano intro. Song is 5:20min.And please comment Edited February 23, 2007 by makketue

Guest Ohdistortedsmile1789
i wudnt call them the best band in the country, there are quiet a few really good bands here in india,JUNKYARD GROOVE would be like the best band in my city,a mix of hard rock and folkplease check out their music herehttp://www.myspace.com/junkyardgroove1They sound pretty good, but to me that's just tragic. There's no evidence of Indian music to be found, only faked Americana. There are such rich musical traditions in India, why wouldn't modern Indian bands try and embrace them? I'm American, and I play Blues. I'm proud to play it because it's a form of music that was born and raised in my country. I find it quite tragic that much of the world's musicians don't make that connection, because someday all there's going to be is American music at this rate. gunsnrosesrfreak
i know, it is a pretty sad situation, theres huge potential here, and im sure the bands wud be succesful if they do get some major record deals, but the problem is, most indian record labels prefer to sponsor classical indian music, and for some reason the international labels never seem to find these bands interesting, the main reason, they feel only the west can really play the western music, but to be honest they shud be given a chance, things are changin though, this band wil be opening for iron maiden in dubai for the desert rock festival, so that shud be a huge canvas for publicity, and aersomiths comin down to bombay this summer i think, so if we manage to get more international acts here in india(*hint hint* we re waiting for axl and co ) , and hopefully if the indian labels do notice the encouragement the fans show, we might see a couple of bands making it big,

westcoast struttin'
i think the best band here in america is probably the white stripes as far as "big" new stuff goes. they've got the spirit, ya know? they ain't my fave in the world, but there ain't anyone else in this era doing rock n roll that can touch them. there's a lot of really great bands (black lips, reigning sound) doing right solid gritty rock n roll, but they'll never be on the radio or highly noticed (not that they're even trying anyway)....i guess i'm a spoiled american when it comes to music. no matter how bad the current rock n roll situation sucks (and it does at this point as far as "big" groups go), i can rest assured that chuck berry, little richard, bo diddley, jerry lee lewis, tom petty, willie nelson, aerosmith, b.b. king, and many other heroes are still alive and kicking. they may not make great new music anymore, but you're still gonna hear better music at their shows when they do the old songs then you will hear from anyone currently making records.....
