JDRM
wouldnt of thought so..seeing as the quality has already been lost to mp3...
Max™
All are correct. MP3 > anything would give you identical, if not worse sound quality. Especially converting to another lossy format.192kbps MP3's are simply the best, believe me. They play on everything and sound good. Other formats are either rubbish like WMA or are less compatible, (AIF for example). If your MP3's are below 128kbps, then reconsider re-ripping them to 192. ssiscool
thanks for that would WMA > MP3 be any good then as some of my shows are a bit of both
highvoltage
thanks for that would WMA > MP3 be any good then as some of my shows are a bit of bothConverting one thing to another format will never improve the quality, regardless of what it is. If you want to convert your WMA files to MP3 just to standardise everything, then that's cool - but make sure you convert it to an mp3 file of equal or slightly higher bitrate. If you don't, you'll lose quality.
