Estranged Reality
I thought it would be interesting to start a thread where someone posts five essential albums per post. You can post more after someone else responds, but the five maximum per post is just to make sure someone with nothing better to do doesn't respond with a 1,000 title list. I'll start it off:In no particular order of importance:1. Neil Young - After the Gold Rush2. Bob Dylan - Blood On the Tracks3. Miles Davis - Kind of Blue4. The Velvet Underground - & Nico5. Bruce Springsteen - Born to RunThe next person to respond would post 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and so on and so forth.Don't start over at number one in your responses. It'll be more interesting to keep the numerical list going in order so we can see how far along it gets.I'm sure we can easily come up with a couple hundred essential albums. And I know this is a forum for a hard rock band, but please, make it *essential* albums... not just generic rock albums if you know what I mean. It's up to you to post whatever you want - but I hope people will keep in mind that these are *essential* albums, i.e. the best of THE best... must-owns... legendary albums...
