Guest Ohdistortedsmile1789
Any fans of the pioneering Metal group? They were by far Metallica's biggest influence (musically, of course, otherwise money would beat them out), and are very enjoyable in their own right. Their legacy is pretty much limited to their nameless promotional EP, sometimes known as The White Album or Lightning to the Nations. Future efforts were marred by misguided production and Pop aims. At their best, they played a form of Metal that was more complex than anything to have come before. As one Rock journalist put it, "there are more great riffs in one Diamond Head song than on a Black Sabbath album".

I don't care for the 80's giant snare drum sound on stuff like "Sucking My Love" and the guitar tone is somewhat anemic but they have some really good songs. Binge_And_Slash
I got into them when I saw Megadeth 3 times in '05 and Diamond Head were the support act all 3 times. They've got a new singer now, who I thought was pretty cool, but I started buying a few of their old albums and I dig it. Death Star
Diamond Head IS one of the greatest NWOBHM bands out there.
Guest knerken
I have their White Album, which have plenty of great songs, but I don't listen to it much cause I can't stand the shitty sound quality.Saw them at Sweden Rock Festival two years ago, it was killer show. Their new singer is awesome!
