THAT DUDE PISSED ME OFF!!He is one of that people that no matter what axl do is wrong! is god damn wrong! if axl says yes,is wrong..if axl says no is wrong!!who is better?? guns or maiden??who is better?? axl or bruce dickinson??So,help me here with powerfull arguments...help me to prove that he is wrong...And dont bash him plz..he is my friend..and I wanna show him this topic..so be nice with him...and be rude with your arguments!!! How many albums you've sold has nothing to do with anything really. Myself, I've never seen what people think is so great by Maiden. I just don't get it. It's not bad music at all, butI just don't get it. Killers was a pretty decent album, but a couple of albums later Dickinson came and ruined the band. His vocals are just way too cheesy. God of Thunder Posted May 12, 2007 Share Posted May 12, 2007 I love both, Maiden and GnR.However I gotta say that these days Maiden is bigger than GnR, at least here in Europe. The last Maiden tour sold out within days. And another big advantage: they bring out albums! Actually the last two were quite good.Bruce and Axl just have complete different ways of singing. While Axl is usually more the typical arrogant Rockstar, Bruce is way more down to earth and also audience participation at a Maiden concert is much bigger than in a GnR concert.... GNR opened for them, not the other way around.And so because Maiden were popular before Guns, that automatically makes them better, right? There's no such thing as a "better" band... some people may like Maiden more... some may like GN'R more... neither are any better than the other. I'm a big fan of both bands and both Axl and Bruce are amazing frontmen. But, I do prefer Guns to Maiden. Although Maiden are really good... they do rely too much on gimmicks, you know, the whole Eddie and "death" thing. Also, a lot of their songs are incredibly cheesy, and a lot of the more recent songs include the story of "warriors from a distant land" over and over again.
