It's a bit selfish to make a thread devoted to my favorite albums, but I finally put together a (loose) list of some of my all-time personal favorite albums and thought I'd share them with everybody. Feel free to comment or post your own favorites.

I was making a personal list for http:///www.rateyourmusic.com, and yes, I was bored.

I'm one of those guys who kinda likes making lists of stuff... once in a while, when I have nothing better to do, I like to kind of categorize things. It's mainly for myself, actually - iTunes can get so cluttered that I forget all the great stuff I have lying about, and I end up just listening to the same stuff over and over again. Forcing myself to scroll through helps me uncover stuff that I'd forgotten I had - for example, I hadn't listened to Sonic Youth for a while.
