Well then here is your chance!http://free.napster.com/view/album/index.html?id=12511028Its all dreadful.None of these artists should be allowed to sing these songs. gnrrulz
Avril Lavine singing Imagine? And not being arrested for it? Where is the justice?Green Day singing working class hero? What is this world coming too?I hope all 10 copies this sells go straight to the people in Darfur because if the artists make a single cent they should be ashamed. Some of these people I haven't even heard of. kevdo242
Some of these people I haven't even heard of. Who the hell is Snow Patrol?I must not be "hip" enough.Big indie band in the UK. Imagine is just a song that shouldn't be covered by anyone.
FunkyMonk
Green Day's Working Class Hero is actually surprisingly good, his voice works pretty well for it.
gnrrulz
Green Day's Working Class Hero is actually surprisingly good, his voice works pretty well for it. Compared to the original.. it just isn't worth listening too.I don't get why a lot of these people tried to make the songs reggae/bohemian sounding. Even aersomith tried to do it... (and I could listen to ST sing the phone book but that cover just isn't good..)U2 did ok but they completely changed the sound of that song. But at least Bono sang it good. murray_TH
I like Regina Spektors cover on it. Other than that it's a cringefest.

Dream Sequence
Yeah you're right. Artists doing covers for an extremely great cause is shamefull. It's disgusting and should be outlawed. Songs are ment to be coverd. Get over it. If it's a bad cover oh well, if it's good than great. Do any of these covers ruin the original? No. So what's the big deal? The only problem I see here is snobbish attitudes when it comes to music.
