11dayempire
Is there anyone who's tabbed a decent version of the Mr Brownstone solo for acoustic? I'm talking about the sort of thing Slash does in the CBGB acoustic set. Even if it isn't authentically what Slash played, it'd be cool if someone could cobble together an approximation of his acoustic solo style... I'd really like to learn a fully acoustic version of the song. For those times when all you've got to play on is an acoustic. SG

SGI haven't tabbed it out for you, but I just play the first half of the solo the same as it is on the album but down 12 frets. So the bend at fret 17, I play at fret 5. What you end up with is the same solo sound only an octave lower. I'm not sure if this is what Slash does but it sounds pretty good and is fat enough should you have to do the song unaccompanied. The second half of the solo I just pay regularly as per the album. No changes...unless I feel ambitious.
