James Bond
I've never heard Dr. Love, what album is it on?So I'll have to go with Dr. Feelgood, at least until I've heard Dr. Love. It's on "Rock And Roll Over".My vote is pretty obvious. I'm going with Calling Dr. Love.I've never understood why so many people hate Kiss. Image aside, they have some great music. Ace Frehley, Bruce Kulick and Paul Stanley are three of my favorite guitarists. Truthfully, every guitarist Kiss had was awesome. There is also no denying that Eric Carr (RIP) was one of the best rock drummers of all time. Eric Singer is great too, and even Peter Criss was back in the early days.I've never been into Motley Crue. They aren't that bad, but I've never seen what's so great about them. In the early days Peter Criss was awesome. However, during the reunion tour, the Psycho Circus tour, and the Farewell tour, it was clear that Peter had lost the great skills he once had. His playing was sloppy and out of time. On those tours, they even had to slow down Detroit Rock City so Peter could keep up. It's no wonder why they decided not to renew Peter's contract, they wanted a tighter drummer. A lot of fans think that had Eric Carr not passed, the reunion tour would have been done with him back in the fox make-up (and with Ace obviously), which is probably true. No disrespect is meant towards Peter Criss, he played on some great Kiss tunes, but he just doesn't have "it" anymore.Eric Carr is a much more skilled and tighter drummer, and he was able to put his own spin on Kiss classics as well as showcase his style on several great Kiss albums, most notably Creatures of the Night. Easily one of the best hard rock drummers of all time.
