Best Album of 2007 so far

Bought these 3 albums last week. Love them all, first time in a long while that I've enjoyed all albums I've bought that were released this year.

I think Era Vulgaris was one of the most boring albums I've ever heard. Homme has become incredibly uninspirative judging on the latest album.

I think the best album so far is Year Zero.

I liked Era Vulgaris much better than Lullabies. Its no Songs For The Deaf, but its enjoyable to me.

And I'll add Year Zero to it, completely forgot it was released this year.

Libertad is the only album from 2007 I've even heard, I haven't really been trying this year to keep up with new albums.

Last year was a great year though.

year zero, definately. for its incredible promotion and concept, the really brave step that trent took, and for the brilliant music on it. trent is just in a league of his own.

closely follwed by icky thump. i love the crazyness of it, like the bagpipes...

era vulgaris is ok, but mostly it bored me.i love 'sick sick sick' though.

libertad...one of those throw away rock albums that initially grabs you and you think its awesome, but then it wears off and becomes a little tedious. some catchy tunes on there, but nothing memorable.

It's been a shit year for music so far. This time last year we'd had 6/7 amazing albums. One so far this year.

Woods of Ypres new album in September though. I'm not sure if even Libertad will be able to top that.

I've only heard Libertad and Icky Thump out of those and even though I like Icky Thump I prefer Libertad. And none of the other albums I've heard (Black Rain, Carry On etc) are better than Libertad.
