Oh MY God.

Somebody other than me Likes Evanescene!

What is this board coming to?

Anyway No Doubt And Flyleaf are both awesome as well, but Evanescence is the best out of the three. IMO.

yeah? so far, my fave is definitely In This Moment... saw them at Ozzfest(went crowd surfing during their set, met the band, got a signed copy of their new album, and, took a picture with the lead singer)

Oh, Chick Vocal ? Then :

thanks bro, I'll check them out when I head to my record store on Sunday

Janis Joplin and Heart.

come on now, bro, those two go without saying... if it wasn't for them, I never would've looked for other female vocalists...(and I love Joplins vox.... in my Modern American History class, I was the only kid who loved how she sang, even the teacher thought I was crazy)

Just Female Vocals? ok let's see.....

Joan Jett is good.

I like Kelly Clarkson. She is Pop but some of the songs on Breakaway are good Pop-rock.

Some bands that I don't like but you might like are

Paramore

Nightwish

Lacuna Coil

Im not sure you if you've heard of them, Sahara Hotnights. It's an all-girl Swedish rock band and they released a new album earlier this year, "What If Leaving Is A Loving Thing". I've been listening a lot to it lately, good stuff.

You can check out some audio and video clips on their myspace:
